Thinkletics ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by Varis Analytics LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Thinkletics mobile application and related services.
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password (stored securely via Supabase Auth). If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the name and email associated with that account.
Usage Data: We collect data about how you use the app, including test scores, accuracy rates, response times, category performance, streak data, flashcard progress, and feature usage. This data is used to provide personalized training insights.
Feedback Data: If you flag a prompt, rate content, or submit feedback, we store that information to improve content quality.
Payment Information: Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data handling.
Device Information: We may collect device type, operating system version, and push notification tokens to deliver notifications and ensure app compatibility.
Thinkletics uses the Claude API (by Anthropic) on our backend server to generate trivia prompts, explanations, and training content. Your personal data is never sent to the AI service. Only content-generation requests (e.g., "generate prompts about World History") are sent to the API. No personally identifiable information is included in AI requests.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS infrastructure) with row-level security policies. All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. API keys and secrets are stored on our backend server and are never included in the mobile app.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with the following service providers, solely to operate the app:
We retain your account and usage data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., payment records for tax compliance).

Thinkletics is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
We may send push notifications for daily training reminders, streak warnings, progress updates, and re-engagement prompts. You can manage notification preferences within the app's Profile settings or through your device's system settings.
The app may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
